Big Baby Rocket?
LSU forward Glen Davis drawing Rockets interest as draft nears

It's hard to believe we're at that time again, but we're just six days away and counting from NBA fan bliss - the NBA Draft, where teams select fresh prospects and big names get new uniforms via trades. Houston is holding the 26th pick of the first round in the June 28th draft and the Rockets could definitely use some size. Glen Davis, LSU's 6-foot-9 forward, offers plenty of that and though there are smoke screens all over the place, the draft buzz is Davis has caught the Rockets interest.

For Rockets, Landry measured up

1. Rudy Gay
Still my number 1 choice for Houston, but he won't be around at no. 8. Just an amazing physical talent.
2. Brandon Roy
Solid in all facets and absolutely fills the biggest current need of the Rockets.
3. Ronnie Brewer
Carney's measurements came in smaller and Brewer's athleticism higher than both were expected.
4. Randy Foye
I think Brewer is more of what they need now, but Foye would provide toughness and a true third-scorer.
5. Shelden Williams
Really has moved up the charts - could be a great low post intangibles guy for the Rockets.
