The Rockets made a good move just hours before the draft, acquiring the 54th pick overall from the Orlando Magic for cash considerations. Last season the Rockets acquired the 44th overall from Orlando for cash, a pick that was used to take Lior Eliyahu.

The Rockets now have the 26th pick overall and the 54th. It will be very interesting to see who they take that late. An international player is certainly a good possibility as I'm not sure we will see some of the fringe first round prospects fall quite that far. Nonetheless, at 54, the odds of getting a real player there are pretty low.
