In Johnathan Feigen's NBA Notebook Sunday, Rockets general manager Carroll Dawson spoke on some of the workouts this past week. "They've all done well so far," he said. "[Ken] Johnson (pictured) and [Eric] Chenowith shot the ball better than we thought. [Michael] Bradley is a good all-around player. [Loren] Woods was quicker, a good all-around player. They all did well. As we say, they didn't cut themselves." Feigen also discussed Pau Gasol, who we passed along had worked out for the Rockets -- apparently 2 scouts checked him out 2 weeks ago. Gasol's stock has risen. The Boston Globe reports the Celtics may not even get a shot at him at #10. "Toni Kukoc is more clever (than Pau)," said agent Herb Rudoy. "Pau is a combination of Toni, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kevin Garnett. He has a lot of things going for him. I've been going overseas for a long time now and seen a lot of players. But when I saw him, he took my breath away." This week the Rockets are scheduled to work out forward Terence Morris of Maryland, forward Sean Lampley of California, forward Michael Wright of Arizona, forward Jarron Collins of Stanford and forward Brian Scalabrine of USC.
